The company are a specialist manufacturer of bespoke illuminated displays. They are recognised market leaders to the UK drinks industry. Growth of the company has resulted in a further expansion of their Design Department, leading to a vacancy for an experienced electro/mechanical design engineer. The ideal candidate will have a background in lighting design possibly in a shop fitting, signage or an allied industry.
The successful candidate must have the following:
Fully conversant with Autocad mechanical design software
Knowledge of 3D mechanical design software
Experienced in basic electrical design.
Practical sheet metalwork design experience
IT literacy in MS Office
ability to meet tight deadlines, often under pressure
Good time management
Good communication skills
Self motivation.
