Front Line Electrical/Mechanical/Technician, to provide electrical/mechanical services to all departments on site providing diagnostic skills, initiating improvements and undertaking preventative maintenance and to ensure that all assets and services are maintained to a standard in keeping with business targets.
Duties and Responsibilities include:- Undertaking of site service electrical/mechanical ,maintenance duties, Maintenance of machinery and equipment to meet schedule requirements and maintaining operations in the fitting shop. Maintenance of planned preventative tasks for portable appliance testing. Maintenance of planned preventative system focussing on a constant moving target. Monitoring all electrical sub-contract work for the compliance of IEE wiring diagrams, Continually self-auditing practices and processes, initiating change were able. Project involvement through conception of idea to installation and commissioning, monitoring the effectiveness of originality. Compliance with Health and Safety regulations, Provide an effective service/response focussing on maximising output, maintaining the quality of both the task in hand and the time applied. Any other duties in keeping with the post, at the direction of your manager.
Skills, Knowledge and Education.
Apprentice Trained
Electrical and/or Mechanical Work Experience
Allen Bradley/Mitsubishi PLC Knowledge preferable
Experience of Planned Preventative Maintenance
Awareness of root cause analysis and the application of a diagnostic approach
An understanding of utility supplies and the application to maintain all site services
A willingness to expand current skill profile
Pneumatics experience important.
