Our Client based in Rotherham are looking for an Electronic Hardware Team Leader.
Key Purpose of Job
To lead the electronic hardware team to produce electronic hardware designs utilising both analogue and digital electronics.
Duties and Responsibilities
To assist the team in the research, design and development of new products within the guidelines provided by Management.
To ensure that the team provide full technical documentation for allocated projects and provide support for those projects where future modifications are required.
To ensure to the best of your ability that all product designs do not infringe any existing patents, trademarks, registered designs, copyrights or other intelligent property rights.
To ensure to the best of your ability that all product designs conform to all relevant standards pertaining to safety, functionality and performance.
Be prepared to assist in projects where your specialist knowledge is required.
To take part in specification and planning meetings when required to do so.
To keep the `research & development director well informed as to the status of current projects.
To organise the work necessary within each stage of a project to achieve an earliest possible completion date.
To train new staff where the need arises.
To carry out duties and comply with instructions as the Board of Directors of the Company shall from time to time determine.
