Based in Leicestershire.
Reporting to the Production Engineering Team Leader, this is a new key position for someone to apply lean manufacturing techniques and provide support across all Production departments.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
Process evaluation and control
Introduction of new equipment
Shop floor layout and methodology
Work break down and manufacturing routes
Working closely with manufacturing and development to ensure best practice/design for manufacture
To plan and manage own work load to achieve agreed targets
The individual will ideally have the following background/experience:
Qualified up to degree level in engineering, applicants must have background experience in high variety, medium batch size lean manufacturing engineering, ideally of electro-mechanical products, combined with process planning, work break down and layout design skills.
