Our Client based in the Canary Wharf area are looking for a Planner from a construction or building services background and have at least 5 years’ experience as a planner.
You must be able to produce programmes showing all relevant activities including design, approval, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning against the requirements of the particular contract. You will use the programmes to monitor and control resources and costs on each contract and produce overall resource requirements for the Company. This will require close liaison with project engineers, surveyors, installation management and designers as well as Clients both in the company's offices and on sites.
You will also be responsible for monitoring and recording the progress of the works against the programmes and identifying delays and changes to the project team.
You must be very familiar with current project management and planning software, such as Microsoft Projects and Power Projects, and be able to produce detailed bar charts, critical path diagrams, cost plans, saw tooth diagrams, resource histograms and reports from them.
