Business Development Manager - Europe
The Business Development Manager will be viewed as the Product Champion for their specific product/products across an assigned geographical assignment. In this role the Business Development Manager will work with the Sales Team and Business Unit to identify critical customers. This individual will be responsible for ensuring progress is being made in terms of penetrating these customers. He will drive and support those elements sales process that fall under his responsibility. This individual will also serve as the focal point for market and competitive information that is to be supplied back into the Business Units to be used to modify current product offerings, pricing strategies and provide & validate input for new products.
Skills Required
Understanding of technology and product for which the position is responsible for.
Knowledge of Silicon, Software and/or RF design flows depending on product responsibility.
Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Self-motivated and capable of working with little supervision.
Customer sensitivity, the ability to multiplex many issues & set priorities, and the desire to help customers exploit new technologies are essential for success in the position
Must be able to set goals and drive execution of those across multiple sales teams and products.
Demonstrate effective negotiation skills.
Qualifications
B.Sc Electronics Engineering or Computer Science.
A minimum of at least 5 years industry experience in a Business Development, Marketing or sales role.
Experience in Silicon, Software or Hardware development in a wireless or computing product oriented company.
Fluency in foreign languages, appropriate for your geographical responsibility, an additional advantage
