We have a position available for an enthusiastic professional Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Sensor Engineering Department.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
·Design and detail of non-standard products and new products
·Preparation and checking of documentation
·Developing design specifications from marketing requirements
·Creating drawings on time and to specifications
·Use of Pro Engineer mechanical design tool for the creation of drawings and component parts
·Support to production for existing products
The successful candidate will be a good team player, have the ability to think analytically, pay attention to detail, solve problems and use his/her initiative.
The individual will ideally have the following background/experience:
Applicants will ideally have a minimum of 1 years experience in the detail design of components and assemblies using Pro-Engineer, particularly related to machined metalwork with machine shop tolerancing. Qualifications range from HNC upwards in Mechanical Engineering.
