Engineering company based in Essex are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to understand the application needs of customers.
To assist with the commissioning of automated solutions to given specification, ensuring time and financial constraints are adhered to.
Qualifications:
Essential: Apprentice Trained, City & Guilds Electrical
Beneficial: HNC/HND, Electrical Engineering
Job Description:
To commission machines as specified
Modify electrical schematics to specification
Generate electrical installation specification
To modify PLC software if required
Provide after-service support
Liaise with electrical sub-contractors
Work to UK legislation, regulations & standards
Skills & Experience:
To have maintenance background.
Computer literacy.
Read electrical schematics
Automotive project portfolio.
Special Features:
Travel to meet customers (Full Driving Licence & British Passport Essential)
Travel to visit installations (UK & Europe)

Able to work on own initiative and within team environment
Responsive
