Engineering company based in Essex are looking for a Robot Applications Engineer.
Development, testing, documentation and commissioning of robot programmes for automotive project applications.
Qualifications:
Essential: Apprentice Trained, ONC/OND/City & Guilds
Desirable: HNC or Higher
Job Description:
Development of robot applications for automation projects as necessary.
Ensure robot tasks are undertaken and completed in accordance with appropriate timing and quality schedules.
Undertake a general commissioning role on total robot cell.
Skills & Experience:
Be familiar with robot programming for ABB, COMAU, KUKA or FANUC equipment.
Have the ability to interface robots to PLC’s.
Be experienced in setting up communication links.
Have experience of Field Devices
Have experience of Servo’s & Encoders
Have knowledge of safety zones/risk assessments.
Have knowledge of CDM regulations/EU Legislation
Have the ability to read engineering drawings (M & E)
Special Features:
Travel to meet customers (Full Driving Licence & British Passport Essential)
Travel to assist with software commissioning (UK & European sites)
Ability to Undertake Shift Work for unsociable hours
Ability to work within pressurised environment
