Company based in Leeds are looking for a Site Services Manager.
Responsible For: Site Services Team
Function: To improve service and raise the profile of Saftronics’ deliveries to give a professional completion to the project it is intended to.
Specific Responsibilities:
To carry out site surveys.
To arrange cost effective transport.
To co-ordinate with customers and take full responsibility for delivery, erection and site tests and advise progress to Engineering Department accordingly.
To prepare method statements.
To ensure Health & Safety requirements are met.
To carry out completion of construction tests, i.e. flash test, ductor tests etc.
To issue Test & completion certificates to Engineering Department and customer.
To complete snagging as required.
To attend site and complete modifications as required.
To liaise with manufacture, Engineering and customers.
To ensure we only do what work we are contracted to do, and ensure any extra work is charged for.
Ongoing Tasks include:
Carrying out an ongoing cost review with an aim to reducing costs and times.
Developing in-house skills e.g. lifting, slinging, machinery moving and H.G.V skills.
To provide feedback and recommendations to improve productivity and cost.
Advising split points to manufacture, as soon as possible, together with any other special requirements.
Competencies Required:
Good knowledge of procedures within Saftronics.
