Our Client based in Swindon are looking for an energetic and flexible Maintenance Engineer who is able to operate within a high profile, fast moving, performance driven environment, requiring good technical skills and some management/supervisory experience.
Must have a hands on approach, proven ability in fault finding and leading a small dedicated team of Associates.
Minimum ONC/HNC (apprentice trained) Mechanical/Electrical or Plant Engineering.
Mechanical biased must have demonstrable electrical understanding eg: PLC control, programming and able to follow simple ladder diagrams.
Electrical biased must have a high degree of PLC programming and fault finding experience, demonstrable mechanical understanding eg: ability to carry out bearing changes etc.
Demonstrable experience of Planned Preventative Maintenance Systems. Experience of at least one of the following: large rotating equipment, conveyors, robotics or CNC/NC machining processes.
A working knowledge of Condition Based Maintenance.
Demonstrable fault finding/problem solving skills.
