Our Client based in Swindon are looking for an energetic and flexible Maintenance Technician to operate within a shift based team in a fast moving, performance driven environment.
Requiring good hands on technical skills with proven ability in equipment maintenance, in-depth fault finding and repair.
Minimum ONC/HNC (apprentice trained) Mechanical/Electrical or Plant Engineering.
Demonstrable experience of working within a maintenance/engineering role.
Mechanical Biased with an Electrical understanding eg: PLC Control, Programming. Able to follow simple ladder diagrams.
Electrical biased must have a high degree of PLC Programming, fault finding experience, mechanical understanding with an ability to carry out Bearing Changes.
Working experience of Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electronic Control Systems, Motors and Drives.
Experience in one of the following: large rotating equipment, conveyors, robotics, or CNC/NC machine processes. Demonstrable fault finding, problem solving and repair skills.
