Company based in Cheshire are looking for an Electronic Technician.
Brief Description:
To assist our design engineers in the fabrication and testing of products being built in the design lab. Using basic measuring equipment to measure, record, report and analyze product to verify that it meets the intent of the design specification. May be required to build or assemble parts using basic production equipment, tools, and procedures.
Essential qualifications necessary to perform this job:
Experience troubleshooting electronic equipment.
Familiarity with mechanical assembly and soldering techniques.
Competent soldering ability.
Able to work with small components (ie SMD).
Proficient with wiring diagrams and schematics for analogue and digital circuits.
Proficient in the use of electronic test instruments
Experience at inspection and test of components and electronic assemblies.
Ideally have a working knowledge of MS office software such as Word and Excel.
Test to standards and record and report results in a concise and meaningful manner.
Ability to work with little supervision and high degree of initiative.
Inputs will be engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and sketches.
Build prototypes and run pre-production inspection of parts. |
