Our Client is seeking to recruit a Site Scientist to join their offices in the Northwest, Midlands and South of England., The role includes extensive involvement in contaminated land clean ups including site responsibility for controlling works, initiation of emergency plans and environmental monitoring
Leading projects in investigation, assessment and implementation of remediation designs and contamination clean up
Heading negotiations with Regulatory Authorities
Managing day to day delivery of comprehensive service
Key Client Management
Qualifications
BSc and/or MSc in appropriate scientific discipline
Corporate Member of appropriate institution
Strong track record in contamination investigation and clean up
Experience of managing excavation of hazardous wastes
Experience of writing and operating methodologies, emergency planning and understanding of operational envelopes
Knowledge of current regulatory and contractual frameworks
Up to date in remediation technology
