This post requires a candidate who is committed to deliver fire engineering design and risk assessment solutions to Clients within a commercially sound framework, at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
Chartered Engineer status
Minimum of 5 years relevant 'hands-on' professional experience.
Excellent communication skills, experience in dealing with other employees and external clients.
A confident, proactive character, with a track record of taking the lead in challenging situation.
Proven record of identifying, developing and growing profitable commercial relationships with clients.
Experience of managing multiple projects through a team of engineers
Details: The candidate must be:
A self-starter capable of both working alone and running multiple projects through a team of professional engineers, often not under their direct control.
Possess team leadership, development, marketing and financial management skills.
Work winner with a track record of identifying and converting leads to jobs on significant projects.
Comfortable working in public and private sectors with professional and end-user clients.
Established as an expert in delivering fire safety engineering solutions in a multi-disciplinary environment with solid experience in developing fire strategies, undertaking engineering analysis and applying performance based designs.
A natural tendency to manage through collaborative problem solving.
Adapts management style appropriately to achieve immediate and long-term goals.
Have the potential and ambition to progress within the firm.
