Company based in Derbyshire are looking for a Production Engineer.
Requirement:
The candidate will have 3 to 4 years experience in a similar role with experience of Lean Production techniques in the Engineering/Manufacturing sector. Ideally the candidate will have a degree/HNC qualification in a relevant discipline.
The job will involve:
Implementation of Lean Manufacturing techniques.
Devising new layouts to increase production requirements.
Driving lean manufacturing throughout the business.
Supporting team leaders and technicians with TPM.
Dealing with external suppliers to set up External Kanban.
Person Spec:
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, be able to working to their own initiative, be a team player and a good communicator. This person will be closely assisting the production manager and will be keen to develop their career in production management. |
