My client provides hardware solutions for industrial, embedded and touchscreen applications. They currently have a vacancy for an experienced Single Board PC diagnostic engineer. The job will provide scope for the person to work at the leading edge of microprocessor technology.
Qualified to HNC/HND level or equivalent in Electronic Engineering the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate evidence of:
Fault finding to component level on PC architecture
Test and debug ability
Ideally working knowledge of x86, MIPS, PCI and ISA
Good general software knowledge
Hours of work are 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays, 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. Fridays. The salary is dependent upon experience and the position is based in Chester.
