To ensure the attainment, maintenance and development of Business systems throughout the company, in particular: Quality, Environmental Management and Information Security systems.
Principle Accountabilities:
The attainment and maintenance of Business Management accreditations such as (but not limited to;) BS EN ISO 9000, 14000 and BS 7799. To liaise with External assessment authorities to ensure effective audits are undertaken. Seek to ensure integration and development of existing business processes i.e.: OHAS, CSR etc. Initiate and Manage Business process reviews to ensure continuing effectiveness of all business processes. To facilitate the identification and implementation of new business processes. Contribute to the institutionalisation of disciplines, process & tools and ensure adherence to the Product Development Process. Develop and deliver the Company Annual Environmental report. Actively support and participate the Company Continuous Improvement programme. To provide support to the General Manager – Quality in the delivery of business targets and Objectives . To provide regular, concise reports concerning the progress of work in the Field of Business process development.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering, Computer Science or Technology discipline preferred. Degree or similar in Quality Management. Ideally should have worked in an Electronics (Hardware, Software) development or Manufacturing environment for a minimum of 5 years. Must have a proven track record and experience in Quality & Environmental Management system accreditation & Maintenance. Experience in the Field of Information Security Management. Ideally will have held a Management role for a minimum of 3 years preferably with appropriate Management Qualifications. (i.e.: NEBSS)

Competencies & Special Aptitudes:
Fluent with all Microsoft Office applications. Should be familiar with recognised Quality Management Software package i.e.: Proquis. Familiar with Quality analysis tools & techniques. Must possess the capability to communicate effectively with development Engineers. Six Sigma qualified preferred. A willingness to develop others through their own skills and experiences as well as possessing the ability to listen are important factors considerations. |
