The Position:
This is a busy and demanding role providing tendering / sales support, predominantly to the Automation & Drives Solutions Sales Team. The position is office based at Manchester although occasional visits to client's sites and other offices may be required.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Preparing quotations in response to project enquiries in a timely manner, including obtaining assistance from colleagues where needed.
Produce systems solutions when necessary.
Assist in pre-sales and post tender activities as required.
Maintain close relationships with key suppliers.
Assist with marketing and sales activities as required.
The Person:
The successful candidate will be a well-motivated team player educated to a minimum of HNC level (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline and with a sound working knowledge of the control & automation field. Good communication skills and the ability to work to tight time scales are essential. |
