Tasks: You will be responsible for Product Support of current products, support the introduction of the next generation of products & lead product and process improvement tasks.
Education: Ideally Degree qualified in a relevant discipline. (HNC/HND with experience)
Knowledge/Languages:
Understanding of high volume production techniques relevant to PCB Assembly and Electro-Mechanical Assembly.
Good understanding of DFM, DFA and FMEA.
Understanding of Quality Measurement systems i.e. DPMO.
PC literate, with good understanding of MS Office.
Capabilities:
Support of Lean manufacturing techniques
Ability to manage change to both process and product.
The ability to support or lead process Improvement teams.
The ability to interface with other key departments on a day-to-day basis.
Ability to question current methods and offer alternative solutions.
Additional Information:
Highly self-motivated team player, with a thorough understanding of high volume manufacturing processes.
