At present my client has a very exciting opportunity for a Field Systems Engineer. You will be responsible for going on to client sites (around Cheshire, Manchester, etc) to install, repair and maintain IT systems. These include network solutions, servers (exchange, etc), pc's, laptops, peripherals, etc. As a result you will have knowledge of VPN and other remote access solutions. Knowledge of ISDN, ADSL, SDSL is beneficial. Knowledge of database design (SQL preferred). Knowledge of routers, TCP/IP, Firewalls, hubs, switches and DR is beneficial.
