Tasks / Responsibilities
Power amplifier design for base station applications from 850MHz to 2.1GHz and to 500W(pk)
Knowledge and experience of PA linearization techniques
Knowledge and experience of PA efficiency enhancement techniques
Solid understanding of transmitter requirements for 2.5G and 3G base stations
All candidates must demonstrate:
A successful track record working in a telecoms product development environment
Proven ability to deliver solutions on time and on budget
Ability to design for high volume, reliability and ease of manufacture
Strong communications skills including authorship of qualification plans and manufacturing test documentation
Minimum 5 years experience in product development engineering
Minimum 2.1 honours degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline
