Tasks / Responsibilities
Analogue Transceiver design from base-band to RF for 2.5G and 3G base station applications
Up-to-date knowledge of transmit- and receive-chain architectures including single- and dual-conversion and zero IF
Knowledge of transmitter and / or receiver requirements for 2.5G and 3G base stations.
Solid understanding of TX / RX frequency planning
Experience in RF and IF circuit design of up- and down-converters using synthesisers, mixers, filters, etc
Appreciation of base-band digital hardware and signal processing elements
All candidates must demonstrate:
A successful track record working in a telecoms product development environment
Proven ability to deliver solutions on time and on budget
Ability to design for high volume, reliability and ease of manufacture
Strong communications skills including authorship of qualification plans and manufacturing test documentation
Minimum 5 years experience in product development engineering
Minimum 2.1 honours degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline
