My client is a market leader in remote control automation systems for the utilities and as part of its continuing growth is now looking for a Support Engineer.
You will be reporting to the customer support manager, the person will be responsible for customer specific engineering matters aimed mainly at Electricity Utilities. This will include after sales support, commissioning complete systems, radio and site surveys, writing reports, keeping records and installation work.
Ideally ONC/HNC Electronics qualified of higher, the successful candidate will join a small team, and would be required to travel throughout the whole of the UK, often staying overnight. A full driving license is required.
The successful candidate would be self motivated and disciplined. Some knowledge of Radio Telemetry and the Electricity Supply industry would be a distinct advantage.
