An opportunity exists for a suitably experienced Engineer to join my clients Ports and Harbours team in its Maritime section. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage all stages of maritime engineering projects including strategy evaluation, detailed appraisal, concept development, detailed design and administration of contracts. The position requires a computer literate individual familiar with the latest design software packages. Candidates need to be ambitious, highly motivated Chartered civil engineers with 10 years post graduate experience in Maritime Engineering, coupled with a proven track record in the design of maritime structures. The preferred individual will be an experienced Project Manager, capable of motivating and leading junior staff. The candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. This is a long-term career appointment with the opportunity in time to advance to senior management level.
