bridge/cad technicians Sheffield
Mott MacDonald is an international multi-discplinary consultancy and we are seeking a bridge technician to join our bridges team in Sheffield.
You should have an HND/HNC in civil/structural engineering, be competent in the use of Auto-CAD and be a team player.
The role includes working in a technical unit handling all types of bridge commissions both road and rail, ranging from inspection and assessment work to feasibility studies, refurbishment and replacement schemes as well as new build projects in the UK and Overseas. Key projects include A57/A628 Mottram-Tintwistle Bypass, A303 Stonehenge, Local Authority Partnering and Framework commissions, Railtrack bridge framework and a number of D & B schemes working with contractors to develop integrated solutions.
We offer opportunities for progression to Senior Technician status and training will be given to assist with attaining Incorporated Engineer status if appropriate.
