KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES · Development of information solutions in line with the agreed corporate strategic approach and ensuring policies, processes, standards and tools are consistently applied. · Delivery of a strategic consultancy service to internal customers to assist in providing information with commercial, technical and financial benefits. · Identification of integration opportunities and risks associated with proposed solutions. · Documentation of systems for implementation, support and exploitation · Integration of information with corporate content management.
Specific Skills, Experience and Qualification Essential Skills (candidate's must have ALL these skills) · Minimum of three years of developing data warehouse or business intelligence systems in a fast paced corporate environment · Proven experience in at least two of the following; Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) using Oracle Warehouse Builder; Oracle Database Analyst (DBA); Oracle Portal development; Reporting using Oracle Discoverer and/or Oracle Reports; Data Management · Proven analysis and development capability · Proficient with business modelling · Proficient with Oracle 9i or 10g and Oracle Toolsets Desirable · Experience of some of the following; Data Quality analysis and profiling, using Trillium Discovery; Data Mining using Darwin; Risk Analysis and modelling of business operations; Use of Systems Architect or other meta-data management tool; Working in an environment with some Oracle Financials, HR, Project or CRM exposure; Java or C coding; On-line Analysis and Processing (OLAP) using Oracle Express/Oracle Finance Analyser · Experience of consultancy approaches, tools and techniques
