Established in 1990 in Birmingham to provide premium brand reprographic solutions to both Public and Private business sectors and due to company growth 7 years ago opened it's sister branch in Stockport. Having achieved rapid growth over the last 14 years, establishing an enviable Sales and Service reputation throughout the Greater West Midlands area through the concentration and development of providing quality "on-time" Service and Maintenance. The Group of Companies has an annual turnover of approx. £10m. With a departmental budget in excess of £2m per annum the Service Department now requires a progressive and energetic Field Service Manager to lead the company through and beyond the markets digital development. The ideal applicant will be a personable, proactive leader with excellent man-management skills, combined with a highly developed technical ability. Total responsibility for the smooth running of the Service Department currently has 4 field engineers. To ensure all service calls are performed within contractual time. To ensure all service personnel receive adequate training to perform their jobs. To ensure that sufficient parts and consumables are available to engineers to perform their tasks. To attend service call outs and be prepared to fix machines. To support all service personnel in their job function. Responsible for ensuring that resource is available to meet the company's responsibility. To work closely with senior management ensuring the department is profitable and to increase profit. Liaise with manufacturers at all levels ensuring equipment, costings and reliability targets are kept. To promote positive company attitude and encourage staff to maintain a high live of moral This role would is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Service Manager who wants to remain hands on or a Senior Engineer with managerial experience. Future progression is available for the right candidate. Good strong people management skills. Strong focus on Quality Service. Excellent communication skills.
