|
Main Purpose of Role:
To inspect printed circuit assemblies both in process and before final release.
Main Responsibilities:
Must be competent to inspect printed circuit assemblies.
To include identification of manufacturing defects and recognition of surface mount and conventional technology components.
Familiarity with ANSI IPC A 610 standard and anti static precautions.
Must be able to read parts lists and assembly drawings and instructions and be able to record inspection findings.
The above is not an exhaustive list of day-to-day responsibilities of the post-holder. Duties should be carried out in accordance with local work instructions and procedures.
SPECIAL FEATURES:
Experience in industrial/professional electronics manufacture in a similar role.
Excellent eyesight, literate and numerate.
Attention to detail with the ability to read manufacturing documentation and drawings. |
