To provide designs, calculations and production support services under the supervision of the Engineering Manager and as required by the project.
Essential Functions:
• Provide timely and cost conscious execution of design tasks by direct activity or by supervision of drafting personnel.
• Provide formal stress and performance calculations to support proposals and drawings.
• To act as a specialist technical resource in all aspects of vehicle systems, mechanical, structural and overall design.
• Provide technical support to the Production Department, handling ECN/QAR matters promptly.
• Provide technical support and assist the Company`s Sales & Marketing Department and provide customer training as required.
Manage design projects as directed by the Engineering Manager.
Educational Background:
BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
Experience:
Minimum 6 years design, 3 years of which must include work on RO systems or similar. Project Engineering experience.
Specific Skills:
Proficient in AutoCad. Working knowledge of ProE. Proficient in stress analysis. Working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical control systems. Ability to lead a team. Attentive to ISO 9001 QA systems.
