Electronics Design
Hardware Design & Development Engineer is required to join a dynamic team of hardware design engineers.
The roll will include a combination of design, drafting and product development activities. You will run and manage customer specific projects and form a key player in New Product Innovation and R&D. You must be Degree qualified (typically Engineering (B Eng) or similar), with at least 3-5 years development experience in a similar position with machined metal components and assemblies. You should have the following skills :- product validation test programs, Data logging / experimental information gathering CAD (AutoCAD) Customer & supplier liaison, Project management. Knowledge of design for manufacture.
Our development style is for a mix of high-end customised development and in particular, development/use of code generation tools for data management systems. You'll join a team of software and hardware developers, working on a range of exciting and new, bespoke applications for a portfolio of clients.
As well as your primary development role, you’ll also get involved in design guidance, project manager assistance, QA of other developers’ work. You'll be accountable to the head of projects and guided by the M D.
You must be a good team player and self motivated with a flexible, tenacious approach and a problem solving attitude are required. You will be joining a key business function at a time of growth and the prospects are excellent.
