Job Description: With an ever-increasing prestigious development portfolio in both public and private sectors they seek to appoint a Graduate Engineer to join the Development Planning teams in the north eastern offices. The role will be varied assisting both public and private sector commissions providing an enviable platform on which to develop a career with the company.
Candidate requirements:
Whilst some post graduate experience within a local authority or private sector consultancy or local highway authority would be preferable it is not essential.
The candidate will be a team player and posses excellent communication, presentation and inter-personal skills.
Sound working knowledge of Microsoft packages such as WORD and EXCEL.
It would be advantageous if the candidate has experience in the following:
Organisation and undertaking of traffic count surveys, radar speed checks and personal injury accident investigations.
Travel Plan questionnaires
TRICS, PICADY, ARCADY, OSCADY, TRANSYT and LINSIG.
Familiarity with preliminary highway design parameters.
Other:
Full driving licence is desirable.
Education to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline (or suitable equivalent).
