This company is an international company working
in all sectors of the rail industry including traction and rolling stock, infrastructure and business
solutions.
To meet an increasing workload in the Maintenance area, they are seeking to recruit an Engineer to lead a small team of engineers and to take a leading role in the development of the company`s capability as a Maintenance provider.
The successful candidate should have: A degree or equivalent qualification leading to chartered status. The ideal candidate is likely to be a chartered mechanical or electrical engineer.
Experience of train maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a Mainline Train Operating Company (Passenger or Freight), but similar relevant experience may also have been obtained in other organisations. Other organisations may include Rolling Stock Leasing Companies, Light Rapid Transit Operations, London Underground, or a train maintenance company.
Good people skills to lead a team of consultants. Good oral communication skills including the ability to communicate at all levels.
Knowledge of the UK rail industry structure and leasing and contracting arrangements for train maintenance. Proven experience in developing new areas of business and a growing team. |
