We currently have a vacancy for a Senior or Principal CFD Engineer working in the Aerospace, Automotive and Turbomachinery Team to join our world class CFD engineering staff based at our purpose built office block in South Yorkshire and within easy reach of the motorway network.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to interact with some of the biggest names in the automotive and aerospace industries and in motor sports. You will be working alongside other members of the AAT Team to provide expert advice, training and guidance to clients on the use of our software. You will also be involved in applications consulting projects where you will have the opportunity to take responsibility for complex analyses to meet the demanding requirements of our customers. You will also be involved in delivering customer training courses and providing technical assistance to our sales and marketing teams.
The successful candidate should meet the following requirements: First or upper second class degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering. Higher degree (PhD or MSc) in a relevant subject would be considered an advantage. Minimum of three years in industry or consulting (in addition to any short-term placements, training assignments or work experience). Experience and knowledge of use of general purpose CFD packages. Aerodynamics; significant experience in external aerodynamics in aerospace or automotive industries. Legal entitlement to work in the United Kingdom.
