FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER - MCPM (Motion Control Production Machines)
HOME BASED - IDEALLY SOUTH EAST REGION.
This blue chip company are currently seeking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to work within the MCPM Field Service team. Reporting to the Motion Control Service Manager the successful candidate will provide professional and efficient fault-finding, commissioning and maintenance service to the Docks industry mainly the Port of Felixstowe. However, there will also be a requirement to provide services to other customers throughout the UK, including Northern Ireland, and occasionally overseas.
The successful candidate will be expected to participate in a standby rota and therefore all candidates should have a flexible attitude to out of hours working.
Educated to at least HNC level or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, all applicants must have at least 5 years relevant experience of fault finding, commissioning and maintenance of MCPM equipment and a good knowledge of its application. Previous experience of Masterdrives and associated control equipment is essential.
This is a demanding and challenging opportunity that requires the candidate to have a proven track record in a service function. The key responsibilities within this role will include focusing on quality of service, working on your own initiative and maintaining customer satisfaction by ensuring that all the requirements of the customer are met to the highest standards. Good communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with customers in high pressure situations are essential requirements. |
