This company are a well-established manufacturing company providing contract coating services to industry.
A vacancy has arisen for the post of Maintenance Engineer.
An enthusiastic and flexible individual is required with minimum HNC in an electrical discipline.
Experience with Control equipment and Siemens S7 PLC, AC & DC Drives preferred.
Major Activities and Responsibilities: Emergency Breakdown engineering work on busy Production Lines. Plan routine maintenance schedules. Ensure the highest engineering standards in accordance with recognised statutory regulations are applied at all times. Provide call-out support Keep meticulous records. Assist with the installation of new equipment & machinery. Provide training to Operators Generate Operator information documents. Assist in Project management. Build strong working relationships with Technical and Production personnel. Organise Spares purchases/stocks effectively. Create effective relationships with Key Suppliers.
Skills and Experience Necessary at Entry: Experience within the Web Coating/Converting and/or complex Rotating Machinery (preferably, but not mandatory). Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and an ability to influence effectively at all times. Proven skills in achieving/exceeding objectives. Have proven Qualifications & Experience of electro-mechanical/motor-control system maintenance (HNC minimum, Degree preferred) Highly motivated, enthusiastic and confident individual. PC Literate Experience of PLC`s (Siemens S7 preferred) AutoCAD experience (preferable) Valid driving license and own car (mandatory) Basic man-management (Potential of apprentice reportee). |
