Education:
BSc Hons in Chemical Engineering
Chartered Engineer and/or 2-5 years experience in his/her specialist field
Industry background desired Oil and Gas.
Opportunities available from Engineer through to Senior Engineer.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will take a key role is executing engineering duties on proposals, front-end studies (FEED) and major process design projects.
Working alone or as part of a multi-disciplined task force, duties will include carrying out process design including calculations, process description and specification, flow sheets, heat and materials balances, performance guarantees, raw material specification and consumption, plant layout and constraints, effluent specifications and quantities, equipment lists and data sheets for relief valves and safety equipment.
Candidates ideally should have at least 2 years post graduate experience gained within the process contracting industry, preferably in oil, gas or petrochemical plant engineering. In addition they should be chartered engineers or training for chartership and be familiar with relevant software packages such as HYSIM or HYSIS. |
