Education: BSc Hons Mechanical Engineering
Chartered Engineer and/or 12-15 years experience in his/her specialist field
Industry background desired 10-15 years Oil and Gas.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will take on a leading role supervising a team of engineers, executing engineering duties on proposals, front-end studies (FEED) and major projects.
The role is a senior position in the Company engineering team. Demonstrated strengths in job control and organisation and a proven track record in delivering project execution to budget and programme, allied to sound technical knowledge, are essential. The successful candidate will play a key role in support of the management of the engineering function and will assist with development and proposals.
Experience:
Successful candidates would require an in depth knowledge of process industry machines including centrifugal gas compressors, gas turbines and pumps to API standards. Additional experience in turbine expanders and packaged refrigeration units would be an advantage. Applicants should have broad experience in specification, procurement, shop test attendance, supporting commissioning and analysing operating data. A sound understanding of associated EU Directives is required. |
