This company are currently looking for Prototype Assembly Technicians. The emphasis of this requirement is in the area of RF and general PCB prototyping and surface mount assembly, detailed wiring and general electronics assembly and fault-finding.
Candidate profile:
The successful candidate/s will have:
a minimum of 3 years experience in a product development environment, preferably with experience of RF/Telecoms/defence products
experience in component buying would be advantageous.
the ability to work with minimum supervision assembling complex prototypes from schematics and drawings
experience of working closely with engineers as part of a project team.
considerable experience of hand soldering of small surface mount devices (0603 and 0402)
experience in detailed wiring and general electronics assembly
An appropriate relevant qualification in electronics (ONC/HNC/HND) would be preferable but is not essential.
Applicants will be required to demonstrate their wiring/soldering skills as part of their selection process. |
