Main Purpose of Job:
Assisting the HSEQ Manager in the administration and development of the company`s management systems, covering Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety.
Key Tasks / Responsibilities:
Internal auditing.
Implementation of corrective / preventive action.
Monitoring and reporting of management system KPIs.
Supplier appraisal.
Drafting Management System Documentation for new or modified products and services, including all QA, H&S, Environmental, and HR aspects.
Assisting in other management duties as agreed from time to time, e.g. administration of Health & Safety, C.D.M., COSHH, calibration.
Keeping informed about relevant new requirements and advising on any potentially advantageous developments for the Company.
Prioritising work schedule for self, in liaison with immediate supervisor.
General office duties including, but not limited to, processing information either manually or on computer, filing, and typing.
Maintaining familiarity with the relevant parts of our Documented Management System and carrying out all responsibilities in accordance with it.
Reporting weekly to HSEQ Manager by verbal discussion of workload, and reporting monthly in writing.
Skills Required, Essential:
Competence with MS Office suite of programs, especially Word and Excel.
A good understanding of HSEQ issues.
Excellent communication skills in writing, by telephone, and face-to-face.
Organised & systematic approach to managing tasks.
Good administration skills.
Ability to work co-operatively and respectfully with colleagues, management, and our clients at all levels.
Willingness to complete tasks, to solve problems, and to overcome difficulties.
Team player: Willingness and ability to share knowledge and contribute ideas to improve methods of work.
Willingness to learn additional skills as required for the job.
Driven towards providing a quality service.
Education and/or experience: A valid Driving Licence.
Education and/or experience, Desirable:
A degree in a relevant subject.
Relevant work experience or specialised studies. |
