Our client is looking for an Assistant Engineer with 3+ years experience, preferably in public transport/rail/light rail engineering of some description. They are looking for someone with some background in transport system infrastructure knowledge, or interested in learning. The position is located in Edinburgh.
Main Purpose of the Job:
Supporting the Design Manager and the Project Team in the management of the Edinburgh Tram Design Job.
Key accountabilities:
* Assistance to the design management team on coordination and issues resolution;
* Management of specific assignments;
* Management of the System Interface Register
Qualifications and experience:
* Engineering or project management degree (or equivalent);
* 3+ years experience in a rail/road/transport projects environment essential, ideally multidisciplinary experience.
