PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the incumbent will assist in the management of Prime & Subcontract Commercial / Contracts Administration of both Domestic and International EPC Projects including:
Prepare and develop Contract Strategy / Plans / Subcontract Terms & Conditions.
Assist in preparing and implementing Project Commercial Support Systems.
Develop and implement Project Change Control Management Procedures.
Prepare and implement Risk / Liability Containment Plans.
Ensure compliance with Contract Terms & Conditions and insurance provisions adhered to.
Identify opportunities for Revenue Enhancement, Schedule Relief and Claim Avoidance.
Prepare, review and negotiate Claims / Dispute Resolution / Final Accounts & Project Close Out requirements.
JOBHOLDER REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications: Degree (BSc) in Quantity Surveying (Minimum).
Member of a Professional Institute (RICS) or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 15 – 20 years relevant experience as a qualified Quantity Surveyor in a Senior Contracts / Commercial role, preferably with both UK and International Process & Petrochemical Industry experience.
Skills/Knowledge: In-depth and working knowledge of Domestic & International Construction & Engineering Standard Forms and Bespoke Conditions of Contract.
Good understanding, knowledge and experience of Contract/Construction Law and Dispute Resolution. |
