This company are seeking Design Engineers with a minimum of 2 years experience in equipment design ideally for the powder processing industry, or alternatively design of other special purpose machinery to work within their busy engineering department.
Essential skills: Experience in the use of AutoDesk computer aided design packages including AutoCAD and/or Mechanical Desktop 6.0. A working knowledge of computerised integrated business solutions, ERP/MRP systems, for the creation of bills of material etc.
Experience in the production of operation and maintenance manuals required to accompany the equipment.
Desirable skills: Working knowledge of applicable European directives such as Machinery Directive, ATEX, and PED and how to apply their requirements to equipment design. Knowledge of pressure vessel design codes including PD5500.
You will ideally be educated to a minimum of HNC level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
Successful candidates will have the ability to communicate at all levels, have a logical, analytical and creative approach to work, be an effective time manager and work well under pressure. |
