Design and development of AC Drives and associated communications and options products.
Key duties include:
Participating in Product Specification; Concepts and Project Planning.
Design of Electronic Circuits.
Design for High Volume Manufacture and Cost Targets.
Product Integration and Design Proving.
Support Product Introduction into Manufacture.
Product Support Activities.
Requirements:
Candidates must be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of the following:
Good knowledge of analogue, power electronic circuits for 230/400V type applications ideally in motor control.
Design tools including schematic entry; simulation tools and analysis techniques.
Design Proving Techniques – prototyping, product proving / validation and approvals against relevant international standards.
Involvement with design projects, through the full design cycle, from concept to product launch.
Design for high volume manufacture and meeting cost targets EMC and ESD.
Knowledge of 230V/400V AC Drives or Motor control would be advantageous.
The applicant will possess a Degree in Electronics Engineering or associated subject and hold a full Driving Licence. They should also be prepared to work overseas for short durations. Knowledge of the German language would be useful.
The Person:
The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of four years experience in a design environment and be able to demonstrate good technical abilities. Candidates should also be flexible and adaptable; have good communication skills; be a good team player and be able to work accurately and unsupervised. |
