reporting to the Technical Manager the successful candidate will be required to:
-Receive, clarify and convert orders for components and small projects into solutions that will satisfy the requirements of our customers.
-Receive component enquires from our customers, interpret their requirements, cost and present quotations
-Receive valve manifold or small project enquires from our customers, interpret their requirements, cost, present and progress quotations.
-Prepare AutoCAD drawings, product schedules and purchase requisitions required in the execution of manifold routing systems and discrete product orders.
-Work closely with the Service Manager as well as internal and external staff in the support and coordination of the daily activities of the service team.
-Communicate with total clarity with our associate companies in Germany on a daily basis. German language is not required.
SKILL BASE – Two options as follows
Preferred
-Fully conversant with all Microsoft Office applications able to build new applications and communication requirements, i.e. Excel to Access to other packages (SAP).
-Familiar with SAP and importing of files into.
-Skilled in the use of CAD, particularly AutoCAD 2003 (?).
-Able to work successfully to deadlines and operate within an ISO 9000 environment
-Either an engineer or come from a technical background
-Able to assimilate new information quickly
Compromise
-Fully conversant with Microsoft Excel and Word
-Familiar with SAP.
-Familiar with engineering drawings and CAD
-Able to work successfully to deadlines and operate within an ISO 9000 environment

A combination of experience and qualifications will be more important that qualifications alone.
Equal consideration will be given to a recent Engineering Graduate in whom we see the right qualities and a C&G qualified Technician wanting to expand his or her career prospects.
