Position Summary:
To populate complex Surface Mount Technology PCB`s using both semi and fully automatic assembly equipment in an issue controlled ESD safe manufacturing area. To be part of and responsible for ensuring quality of product produced meets Company IPC standards by using continuous auditing methods, PPM monitoring & SPC.
Main duties & responsibilities:
-Set up and operate Automatic Assembly Equipment and Test Equipment. Individuals should be capable of switching on the equipment, loading programs, and running the equipment without support from others.
-PCB Auditing to ensure quality. Applicants should understand how the audit process works and how to use the information to ensure the highest quality from the area.
-Use of MFG-Pro, and the PDM systems to ensure information is correct before build.
-Raise production problems with Production Engineering and offer constructive solutions to resolve manufacturing issues.
Position Requirement:
The candidate will have solid experience in a PCB manufacturing environment and be trained to IPC standards. The candidates should be familiar with PPM and SPC, possess excellent communication skills and be fully conversant with PCB manufacturing processes. Good organisational and administration skills are essential, as is the ability to cope under pressure and work with minimum supervision. The applicant must be PC literate and be able to work well within a team and independently.
