My client currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Test Engineer to diagnose and fix faults at component level on leading edge complex microprocessor boards.
Candidates should have at least two years experience of fault finding on high speed digital circuits using oscilloscopes and logic-analysers, without the use of any ATE. A good hardware understanding of 32/64 bit microprocessors, preferably Intel 80x86 architecture, High performance communications peripheral devices and PC architecture and PCI system busses is essential.
Qualifications: ONC/OND (GNVQ EQUIVALENTS) and HND/HNC (GNVQ EQUIVALENTS).
