Key Tasks: Maintain and repair heavy construction plant equipment.
Knowledge and Experience required: Experience of working on mobile and static construction equipment.
Experience of maintenance and repairs in the following areas: Diesel Engines, Hydraulic Systems, Fault Finding.
Some knowledge of 24V electrics would be an advantage but is not essential.
Ability to identify, assess and highlight faults/problems.
Good communicator and team player.
Complexity and creativity of job:
Carry out maintenance and repair tasks of plant machinery.
Complete all the relevant documentation as and when required.
Tasks are varied from equipment to equipment and from day to day.
Required to bear in mind health & safety when carrying out tasks with consideration of engineering hygiene. |
