Looking for experienced engineers in the field of Mass Spectrometry, Electron Microscopy and Surface Science instrumentation.
Qualifications required: High level of electronics experience including, Digital, Analogue and high voltage fault finding down to component level. A thorough understanding of Vacuum technology, LCMS, XVG, Mass Spectrometry / Electron Microscopy, a complete working knowledge of either, although they are able to offer training on whichever is not applicable. The Company would expect a minimum of ten years experience in your relevant field. Mechanical and Electrical ability to diagnose often complex problems. An understanding of water cooling systems would be an advantage.
The job can often involve long periods away from home and this must be considered and discussed with your family.
As well as having the ability to do the job you must remember that whenever you are on a customers site you will be an ambassador representing the company and good communication skills are vital.
