The Company designs and installs a wide range of large-scale integrated electronic systems for security and transportation applications. This includes Intruder Detection Systems (IDS), Electronic Access Control (EAC) and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Surveillance Systems.
Projects vary from single large prestigious sites to networked systems across many sites. These systems are tailored to specific requirements for a variety of customers.
REPORTS TO:
Systems Engineering Manager
OBJECTIVE:
This role is to perform the system design, integration and technical co-ordination of the above projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Systems design of large scale integrated electronic systems
- Generation of technical proposals and prices
- Design responsibility throughout the project life
- Preparation of Functional Design Specifications
- Generation of acceptance test documentation
- Completion of the system design within project timescales and budgets
- Liaison with suppliers and clients
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of a degree or HNC in a suitable discipline
- Experience in an engineering environment
- Background in electronic systems
- Experience in Security Systems would be an advantage

REQUIRED:
- Full UK driving licence
